How ORBITVU Works

1. Shoot It

A motor-driven turntable supports your product and rotates it precisely 360° in front of your digital camera so a photo can be taken at each angle. Installed on your Mac or PC, ORBITVU EDITOR controls the turntable”s rotation and the camera”s shutter release.

2. Produce It

The software allows you to make the packshots uniform by balancing exposure and removing unwanted background elements. It saves sequences of images from all angles and in various resolutions, in order to show the product spinning through a complete 360° turn, and permitting magnified views of any detail.

3. Share It

The image sequences are then packaged into an interactive 360° product presentation that can be uploaded to a web server or SUN host and quickly shown, shared or embedded anywhere on the internet.

4. View It

VIEWER downloads only the precise image fragments needed as the user browses, ensuring a super-fast, seamless user-experience. With both HTML5 and Flash versions, it works automatically – without any plugins – on any modern browser, OS or platform.

How ALPHASHOT360 Works

1. Place the Object inside ALPHASHOT

Place the object to be photographed inside and see it on the screen in Live View mode.

2. Set the Camera Angle

ALPHASHOT is equipped with an easy to use trolley. Use it to choose the camera angle over the photographed object. All shots are easy: side, top or angled.

3. Capture the Product Image

Press just one button to make a perfect still or 360° image without background. Remember, you decide – ALPHASHOT leaves you the last word: you can always fine tune each packshot creation step.

4. Export and Share

ALPHASHOT will save all still images in ready to use PNG file format with transparency. 360° presentations can be output to animated GIF, SWF and most importantly to ORBITVU presentation, which can be uploaded directly to ORBITVU SUN server.
